MEDIA NOTE – – The Class Cross Country Championships are scheduled for this Saturday (31 Oct.) at the “Covered Bridge’’ course at Ponaganset High. Team titlists for the girls last year: La Salle (Class A); Smithfield (Class B); East Greenwich (Class C). Boys’ 2014 champs: La Salle (Class A); Barrington (Class B); East Greenwich (Class C). There will be three JV races, run consecutively, starting at 12 noon.
