East Coast Invite

Thanks to everyone who helped make the second Annual East Coast Championship a success. We had more than 750 entries from 80 schools.

A few important notes:

• To accommodate our many out of state schools, the start of the Running and Throwing Events has been moved to 10 a.m.

• Boys Long Jump will begin at 9 a.m.

• All entries have been accepted. For all entries submitted through DirectAthletics click here.

• Click here for a final time schedule. No running event before the 4x4 will run early. The 4x4 and DMR may run up to 15 minutes early.

• Seeded sections will run first

• Girls Triple jump will go straight to finals (6 jumps). Competitors must register a legal mark in the first three jumps. All jumps will be marked.

• Boys triple and Boys and girls Long jump. First legal jump will be marked. Minimum distances then apply.

• Girls Emerging and Championship Weight throw will be combined into one event. All throws will be marked.

• Top 24 entrants in the Boys and Girls Shot and Boys Weight will compete in the Championship Flight. All throws will be marked. No finals in the Emerging Flights.

2013 East Coast Invitational

About the Event

The event serves as a major fundraiser for the RITCA and is open to NFHS Schools on the East Coast (Sanctioned in: RI, MA, CT, ME, NH, NJ, NY, VT, PA, NC, SC, GA, DE). The meet features the 400, 800 and mile runs, giving area athletes an opportunity to run these distances indoors.

Entries

Entries will be accepted through Directathletics beginnig in December. Entries are now closed

Admission & Spectators

There will be an admission fee of $3 ($8 family maximum) for the East Coast Invitational. Spectator seating is located on the second floor. Spectators for the weight throw are invited to use the grandstands behind the throwing cage.
