17 Feb. – – La Salle’s freshman took the state girls’ title on Monday at PCTA. In the boys’ meet, Hendricken won handily.
For the girls, Westerly High’s Randi Burr won three events: 600, 1000 and 1500 meters. The Bulldogs were also showcased in the boys’ meet, as Matt Walker took 1000 and 1500.
