RAMS’ WILBUR: NEW SR IN TWO MILE

1 March – Sheridan Wilbur, a junior from La Salle, broke the R.I. state indoor record for two miles on Friday night at the New England Championships at the Reggie Lewis track in Roxbury, Mass. Wilbur finished second in the race with a time of 10 minutes, 40.89 seconds (= 9:53.5 @ 3000m), which eliminates the previous record of 10:42.36 set in 2011 by North Kingstown’s Aisha McAdams. Wilbur is this year’s 3000-meter champ (10:17.50).
