Reason why you are out for (Indoor, outdoor and or XC)?

1) I run XC, indoor and outdoor track because I love to run. I have grown up running with my older brother and the sport grew on me. I love being a part of a team.

What other sports do you compete in during the year?

2) I do XC, indoor and outdoor track.

What activities , aside from sports do you regularly participate in?

3) Other activities I like to do are volleyball, rollerblading, and basketball.

What is your favorite workout?  / Least favorite?

4) My favorite workout is a good ole hill workout or puke hills. #KILLTHEHILL
My least favorite is a split 300 workout.

How has being on the track team impacted you as a person?

5) Being on a team has impacted me in many ways. My team has open up new doors for me. My teammates and coaches have exposed me to new things and activities I would never think I would like. Also, begin on a team has boasted my pride and spirit. I have made my long lasting friendships too.

What do you do to prepare before a major meet…..sleep, eat, mental prep, training,,etc..

6) Before a major meet I usually have a light run with some speed on the track. I drink a ton of water throughout the week, go to bed around 9:30 and eat pasta, chicken, and a salad the night before. I always in vision my race like my coaches have taught me too. “90% mental and 10% physical.”

Who are your inspirations?  Who motivates you?

7) My brother is one of my inspirations. He was an All State runner and he has inspired me to be an All State runner as well. Lolo Jones also inspires me because of her devotion to this sport. She has overcome so much in her track career, whether it was an injury, surgery, or losing a Gold medal. However, she has still gets right back up and pushes harder. My teammates and coaches motivate me to be the best I can be. They help me get physically and mentally prepared and support me with everything.
