DATELINE – – The girls’ team from Prout and the Cumberland boys were team titlists on Thursday at the Bronco Invitational in Burrillville. At the East Bay Challenge at Glen Park in Portsmouth it was host Portsmouth winning the girls’ title, while Chariho took the boys’ crown.
Westerly posted individual wins at East Bay. Randi Burr clocked 18:39 for the girls, and Matt Walker timed 16:01 to take the boys’ 3.1-miler.
It was Cranston East’s Shayna Cousineau winning the Bronco girls’ race in 18:58. Cumberland’s Ben Drezek was the boys’ victor in 15:52.
